We are a relaxed, friendly church with a program that seeks to connect the whole person and entire family to God.

When you visit you will experience: Warm welcome, lively worship, real people, passionate preaching, packed program and ultimately God’s presence.

We want you to know that you matter to God and you matter to us. We would love to have you join us for our services this weekend and look forward to welcoming you to Hope Church.

The Team

Alistair Ritchie

Alistair was born in WestonSuperMare (England), Alistair spent most of his life growing up in Northern Ireland. He made a decision to follow Jesus as a child but in his mid to late teens a passion for God began to stir within his heart and he felt challenged to go to Bible College to train to become a Pastor. At the age of 19 he started a three year course at Belfast Bible College and upon graduation was appointed Youth Pastor in South Belfast Elim Church. Following 4 years of service there, Alistair was appointed to Hillsborough Elim Church (June 2004) as Associate Pastor to work alongside his father,. However, upon Pastor Jimmy Ritchie's change of role from lead Pastor Alistair was appointed the new lead Pastor of Hillsborough Elim Church where he he continues to serve with his wife Alison, daughters Chara and Emily, and son Zach. Alistair’s heart is to see Christians built up in God, fully devoted to Him and reaching out to lost people who need His love.

Bill Foye

Bill was born and brought up in NorthWest Belfast. He was born the year both his parents became Christians so he had the privilege of a Godly upbringing. He became a Christian at the early age of 7 and as far back as he can remember he felt the call of God to give his life serving in the local church. After serving in the local church during his teenage years he felt the call to bible college so in 2006 he went to Belfast Bible College. After college he got married to Hilary and they moved to Dollingstown near Moira and decided to join Hillsborough Elim. God then opened the door to minister as part of the team as assistant Pastor after serving for 2 years as an intern. Bill heads up the youth work in the church and plays an active role in media, music as well as event organising. His passion is to see Christians live in the freedom that Christ has given them through his life, death and resurrection, and for non-Christians to see the real Jesus in the lives of Christians. Bill and Hilary had a baby girl on the 25th August 2015 whom they named Zoë.
